There is something strange going on in the testing landscape. We ‘shift-left’ almost every type of test. We run tests in early stages. These tests give a constant, early insight in the status of our software— and we love it.

The shift-left itself is not strange. What is strange is the fact that one specific type of test is left behind. We run acceptance tests; we get our stakeholders involved in every iteration; we get insight in functional stability, usability, performance, compatibility, reliability, portability, maintainability.
