INTRODUCTION
This privacy statement of ICT Group B.V. pertains to the processing of the personal data of our current and potential business contacts, including clients, suppliers and subcontractors), applicants and visitors and website visitors. This privacy statement provides information about the processing of personal data by ICT Group B.V. and its affiliated companies. ICT Group B.V. has its registered office at Kopenhagen 9, 2993LL Barendrecht, the Netherlands, Ch. of Comm. no. 24186237, to be referred to hereinafter as “ICT” or “we”.
We respect the privacy of the persons whose personal data we process. We therefore strive to comply with all applicable laws regarding privacy protection and the security of personal data. We therefore use the utmost care when processing and securing personal data.
ICT is the controller. In this privacy statement, we will inform you about, among other things, what personal data we collect and use concerning you and for what purpose.
HOW DO WE OBTAIN PERSONAL DATA?
We obtain your personal data because you use our services or products and/or because you or a third party is actively providing or has actively provided these to ICT. This happens, for example, when you enter into a business relationship with ICT, register for events and activities (in writing or via our websites), opt in for marketing or recruitment activities, or agree to be included in our customer database.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?
The personal data we process from you may include the following:
Applicants:
- Name and address details (last name, first names, initials, gender, address, post code, place of residence)
- Contact details (telephone number, e-mail address and similar data required for communication)
- Curriculum vitae (cv), including passport photos + covering letter
- References and certificates (if applicable)
- Online assessment results (if applicable)
- Other personal data you provide through communication with us
Visitors of ICT:
- Name
- Company name/function (if applicable)
Visitors of ICT events and activities:
- Name
- Organisation, position (if applicable)
- Contact details (telephone number, e-mail address and similar data required for communication)
- Visual material (photos and videos)
Website visitors:
- IP address, location data
- Data about your activities on our website and/or your surfing behaviour
- Internet browser and device type
Current and potential business contracts:
- Company name and address
- Name, e-mail address and/or telephone number of contact person
- Job title
- Other personal data you provide through communication with us
All other personal data that pertains to you because you have provided these to us or that we may obtain in connection with the purposes and based on the grounds set out below.
GROUNDS AND PURPOSES FOR PROCESSING DATA
ICT collects and processes personal data based one of the grounds below:
- A. If this is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which you are a party or for the performance of precontractual acts at your request;
- B. If this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
- C. If this is necessary to promote our legitimate interests or the interests of a third party;
- D. With your consent.
When ICT processes your personal data based on your consent, ICT will request this consent separately. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
When ICT collects your personal data, these data are collected for one or more of the following purposes. We may collect your personal data for our business operations, recruitment activities, sending out news items, to improve our products and services, to invite you to our events, to process questions left on our website, or to improve the performance of our website.
Business operations
ICT processes personal data in connection with agreements with clients, suppliers and business partners. ICT also processes personal in the context of contract with current and potential business contracts, such as organising and maintaining contact.
Recruitment for the benefit of ICT
We use personal data for recruitment purposes for the benefit of ICT and its affiliated companies and group companies. We may provide these personal data to these companies.
News items and the supply and improvement of ICT’s products and services
We collect personal data and other data we receive through websites so we can operate effectively and optimise how we offer our customers information about, and formulate offers for, our products and services offer. In addition, we may also use personal data to communicate with customers and users.
ICT events
We may send news or invitations to events or seminars to our business contacts without being required to obtain your consent. We process these data on the basis of a legitimate interest in the context of our business operations and services.
Before an event starts, we ask visitors for consent to having photographs taken and/or video and/or audio recordings made. These recordings will be stored for up to three years and may also be used for the internal/external communication purposes of ICT Group, through online and offline means, both for commercial and recruitment purposes.
Website visits
You can visit our websites without providing personal data to us. However, we do process data about your visit to our website(s) for statistical purposes (including through Google Analytics), such as data about the date and time of your visit to our website(s), the pages and sections of our website(s) you visited and what data you uploaded to and downloaded from our website(s). We collect these data so that we can best tailor the content of our website(s) to the wishes and needs of the users of those website(s). SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
We take appropriate organisational, technical and physical measures to protect your personal data. In doing so, we take the nature of the personal data and the processing into consideration. We make every effort to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised disclosure, unauthorised access and unauthorised changes as well as possible. Our websites may include references and/or hyperlinks to one or more third-party websites. ICT is in no way liable for how these third parties act in response to privacy legislation. WITH WHOM MAY YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE SHARED?
Personal data may be shared between ICT Group companies. Your personal data may also be shared with:
- Service providers, partners and other business contacts: we may disclose data to service providers and partners who provide services to you, act on our behalf to fulfil duties or perform a contract we have entered into.
- Judicial, public and/or government authorities;
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
You have the following rights with regard to the processing of your personal data by ICT:
- Right to access: you have the right to inspect the personal data we process concerning you.
- Right to rectification: you have the right to have the personal data we process concerning you corrected or supplemented if the personal data is incorrect or incomplete.
- Right to withdraw your consent: you may simply withdraw your consent at any time.
- Right to object: you may object to the processing of your personal data.
- Right to erasure: you may request us to erase your personal data.
- Right to data portability: if it is technically possible, you have the right to have the personal data we process concerning you transferred to a third party.
- Right to restriction of processing: in some cases, you can request to restrict the processing of your personal data, whether temporarily or otherwise, which means that we will process fewer data concerning you.
To prevent that we provide data to an incorrect person, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity.
We will assess your request in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In principle, we will inform you whether we can comply with your request within one month after receiving that request. This term may be extended by two months in specific cases, for example in the event of a complex request. We will inform you about such an extension within one month after having received your request.
RETENTION PERIODS
We will not keep your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your personal data are processed.
The retention periods of ordinary personal data for the following groups are as follows:
- Rejected and other applicants: The retention period is four weeks after application procedure has ended. If you have consented to us retaining your data longer, we may store your data for up to one year after the application procedure has ended.
- Potential employees: The retention period for the personal data of potential employees is three years with the explicit consent of the data subject.
- Persons hired in: The retention period for the personal data of persons hired in by ICT is seven years in connection with the statutory duty of retention.
- Current and potential customers: The retention period for the personal data of customers of ICT is as long as the relationship between the customer and ICT continues and/or as long as required by law.
- Suppliers: The retention period for the personal data of suppliers of ICT is as long as the relationship between the customer and ICT continues and/or as long as required by law.
- Visitors: up to six months after the right to access has lapsed.
A THIRD COUNTRY OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION
If personal data is to be transferred outside the European Economic Area, we will only do so if necessary and to the extent permitted by law.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Decisions we take on matters that could have significant consequences for individuals are not taken through automated processing. Decisions taken through automated processing are taken by computer programs or systems without the intervention of a human being, e.g. an employee of ICT.

ICT reserves the right to amend this privacy statement at any time without prior notice. The most recent version of this privacy statement will always be published on the website www.ict.eu. If and to the extent that you provide personal data to ICT, we advise you to regularly check the contents of this privacy statement, which is also available in Dutch on ICT’s website (“Privacy Statement”).
