Mark de Munnik
Background and work experience
Mark has over 10 years of experience in IT and works as a test (automation) consultant and trainer. He specializes in test automation with a focus on the effective application of Behavior Driven Development principles. His mission is to understand the actual needs behind a client’s request and translate them into new test automation strategies that he implements in teams and organizations across different domains. In doing so, he ensures that valuable software is delivered, tested at the appropriate level, and well-documented. Since 2016, he has been providing training in IT on topics such as testing, test automation, and BDD.
Mark played a key role in the inception of Capturing Agile Requirements by Example (CARE), and he has given presentations at conferences such as LDE23 & TestNet on how Agile practices can be applied in a Compliant environment through the implementation of CARE. Additionally, he has developed a toolchain for Living Documentation that generates the required evidence for compliance with just a single click of a button.

Mark holds the certificates ISTQB Foundation, ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer, Rapid Software Testing, IREB Foundation, TMap Next Test Engineer and of course AU™ Capturing Agile Requirements by Example (CARE).
