Testing; What do we really know?

Metrics within the testing discipline that is still in its infancy. Many papers (and even books) have been written addressing test metrics, but (too) few organizations have really practiced test measurement programs.
Beware, I’m not discussing metrics in the context of running a test project, but metrics in the context of a test process or even test improvement project. If you think about it, it’s amazing how much we do not know regarding testing.
