In November 2002, the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) was founded with the objective to establish the further internationalization and harmonization of the test certification program. Meanwhile, there is a fully recognized and globally harmonized ISTQB certification scheme. The ISTQB testing certification program is divided into three levels:
- Foundation Certificate
- Advanced Certificate
- Expert Certificate
This accredited two day course gets you ready for the ‘Foundation Extension – Agile Tester’ exam and complies with the requirements set up by ISTQB. You’ll learn the principles of agile software development and testing, the difference between traditional testing and test methodologies, test techniques and tools in an agile context.
The training is meant for you if you already have some experience and want to learn more about agile testing in de role of:

Prior knowledge or training required
You possess the ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing certificate.
In this two-day training you will learn about structured testing from both theoretical and practical perspective. Exercises and forming opinion are an important part in this course. During the course you will practice test exams. It is recommended to prepare for the exam by studying the curriculum in the evenings. If you pass the exam, which is being taken by iSQI, you’ll receive an official ISTQB Foundation Extensions – Agile Tester Certificate.
